The second TURBLOG workshop was held in Lima, Peru on the 19th and 20th of October 2010. 

The main topic of the workshop was: Business Concepts and Models on Urban Logistics, and counted with the participation of several experts in the subject.

Following the activities previewed in the Technical Annex, TURBLOG project included some technical visits in order to directly experience the Local Urban Logistics context.

The technical visits were considered as excellent opportunities to observe and better understand the local context, allowing the consortium to deep analyse the case studies presented.

 

The Technical visits associated to the Lima workshop allowed the TURBLOG consortium and the invited experts to better understand the following local contexts:

 

Technical visit to Gamarra – La Victoria district (WP4 case study), on 20th October 2010;

 

 

Technical Visit to Cusco and to Aguas Calientes: including a seminar in the University of Cusco on 21st October 2010 and a technical visit in Cusco on 22nd October 2010. The Cusco technical visit focused on the Urban logistics and city management in emergence condition (i.e Flooding)
