ComPM ICT Tool tested by Project Managers!

20 February 2014

The ComPM Assessment Tool was developed according to the profile of the EU project managers determined within the ComPM project, to allow the self-assessment of managerial competences. This ICT tool has been tested, in national languages, by over 70 project managers and experts in project management, who considered it a user-friendly and complete tool. ComPM Partners Final Meeting!

The 5th and final project meeting took place in Bruges, on the 23 January and was hosted by Syntra West. At this last meeting, partners discussed the improvements to be made on the ComPM Assessment Tool to assess managerial competences, and also the test phase to be implemented in all partner countries. Moreover, partners focused on the results achieved during the two years of cooperation and on the future plans for the exploitation of the ComPM outcomes.


ComPM Pilot Courses Implemented in All Partners Countries!

ComPM pilot courses were implemented in all partner’s countries and had the participation of over 70 project managers. Besides improving their managerial competences, participants of these training sessions were able to explore the training materials developed under the project and provide feedback about them. ComPM Partners Meeting!

04 October 2013

On the 12th and 13th of September, partners met in Milan (IT) for the 4th project meeting, which was hosted by ISTUD Foundation. At this meeting the trainers of partner’s organisations participated in a train-the-trainers session, where they explored the ComPM training methodology and training materials developed in the previous months. Also, the preparation and arrangements of the pilot courses addressing project managers were discussed at this meeting.


ComPM Pilot Courses are Coming!

Partners are preparing the training sessions for projects managers in which they will have the opportunity to improve their managerial competences and to provide feedback about the developed materials. The pilot courses will be implemented in all partner’s countries. More information is available here.


ComPM at an International Conference in Spain!

09 July 2013

INOVA+, on behalf of the ComPM consortium, has submitted a paper to the International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies (EduLearn 2013), which was accepted. ComPM Partners Meeting!

The 4th project meeting took place in Slovenia, on the 11-12 April and was hosted by Gea College. Partners have discussed the final findings on the competence profile of EU project managers and presented the contents of the training materials being developed. In addition, partners discussed the development of the ComPM Assessment Tool which will be used to assess managerial competences.

ComPM project was presented at the Conference "Project Management in Practice", which took place in Medvode, Slovenia, on the 13th February 2013. Gea-College represented the partnership at this event, where it has the opportunity to present the latest developments of the project, namely the competence profile, and the following activities to be implemented. Results on the Consultation: Competence Profile of EU project managers!

The ComPM partnership wishes to thanks to all project managers that answered to the call for consultation and helped on the definition of the Competence Profile.
More than 500 project managers from Belgium, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia participated in this activity by answering to a self-evaluation questionnaire. The final version of the Competence Profile which is the result of the standardization procedure, statistical and psychometrical analysis can be consulted here.


 ComPM at a Conference in Slovenia!

Gea-College will present the ComPM project, in February 2013, at the Conference "Project Management in Practice", which will take place in Medvode, Slovenia. This will be an opportunity to disseminate the results from the survey carried out in the participant countries regarding the competences of project managers. ComPM Partners Meeting!

Partners have met on the 15-16 November, at Portugal, for the 3rd project meeting. Preliminary findings on the competence profile of EU project managers and the training curriculum were the main topics for discussion.

Competence Profile of EU project managers!

EU project managers from Poland, Belgium, Slovenia, Italy and Portugal are being invited to participate in the project by answering to a self-evaluation questionnaire regarding their competences as project managers.
