 2nd AgeingWell National Event
“ICT & Active Ageing: New Technologies and Projects for E-Health and Active Ageing”

 

Tecnopolo, S.p.A, held the 2nd AgeingWell National Event under the scope of the “Capitale Conoscenza conventions and workshops".

The workshop took place on 7th June 2012, at the La Pelanda MACRO Testaccio, Rome, and brought together representatives of R&D institutions, health care providers, companies and users for a joint discussion and experience share on relevant topics to the overall performance of the sector.


This event was meant to give actors of the ICT, e-Health, and Active Ageing world the opportunity to meet each other and to share their experience and knowledge in order to gather feedback and improvements for future successful strategies. The programme was designed to approach the following topics:

  • the “AgeingWell ” Project, it’s up-today results and future perspectives;

  • Italian ICT/e-Health/Active Ageing best practices and solutions;

  • EU experiences regarding the use of ICT solutions for e-Health and Active Ageing;

  • Italian politics and initiatives, financial instruments, innovation/technology transfer processes related to Active Ageing.
